OUR TECHNOLOGY
Our wet abrasive technology lends itself to a wide variety of uses and applications. Wet blasting is a natural choice for cleaning grease, rust, factory coatings, and contaminants from the old motorcycle, engine, or machine parts. The wet abrasive process is quicker leaving a softer satin-like finish on any aluminum, chrome, or steel surface.
The traditional dry blasting method causes frictional heat to the blasted surface which causes warping on aluminum or steel making our wet blasting a better choice on softer metals and making it a good choice for antique restoration, wood restoration, cleaning up fire damage, and removing graffiti.
In the outdoor construction industry or urban setting wet blasting is your best choice making dust containment less of an issue.
In the engineering industry, wet blasting is used to remove carbon deposits, oxidation, paint, and contaminants. It has also been used for cleaning and peening aerospace parts and surfaces.

What is powder coating and why do you need it?
Powder Coating in its simplest terms is a process in which powder is applied to metal and is heated until the powder hardens and forms a coating over the part. There are many more technical details involved-but the good news is all you need to know about powder coating is our location…11 NW 5th Ave, Milton-Freewater, OR.
Things you see every day have been powder coated: furniture, fences, filing cabinets, mailboxes, bicycle frames, ductwork, metal sculptures, cars, appliances, lawnmowers, basketball goals…the list goes on and on.
Due to the numerous advantages and uses, it is easy to see how powder coating can add that finishing touch to the piece you have worked so hard making. Shouldn’t your product stand out from the rest? With our state-of-the-art equipment, and large oven, we can tackle your powder coating project!
We collaborate with our clients on an individual basis to determine their precise needs and work as a team to build quality into the pavement throughout the entire process. We believe in doing it right the first time at the best possible cost.

ATS has expanded its testing capabilities by launching its new Pavement Asset Management division. This division uses advanced technology to deliver fast and accurate data on road conditions, helping customers understand pavement quality more efficiently than competitors. The division focuses on International Roughness Index (IRI) Profiling to assess road roughness and also offers pavement condition analysis using IRI, rut analysis, cross slope analysis, and imaging to calculate the Pavement Condition Index (PCI). By measuring surface profiles at traffic speeds, this technology supports effective pavement management systems. The IRI is calculated using a mathematical algorithm and non-contact technology like lasers to measure pavement elevation, providing real-time data for improved road management.
